Hello Kitty for Dogs

I must confess that I love everything Hello Kitty, I always have and always will :)
So I was excited when I found out that Loungefly and Sanrio have come up with a Hello Kitty collection specially for dogs, and they are adorable.

The model for their line is a Shih Tzu like Cinnamon, check it out:

Halloween!!

I'm a lady bug!

I only like halloween because I get to dress up Cinnamon and go trick or treating with her. This year we went to Happy go Lucky dog boutique for a Halloween event. Cinny had a lovely lady bug costume and she was the best (at least in my mommy eyes). They had dog contests and free treats for humans as well.  Here are some of the cutest dogs and funny costumes:

My little Chinese dog!

Shih Tzus were originally from China and were pets of the royalty :) The name translates to "lion dog" and they do look like lions, especially when they play! Cinny received a gift from China and she looks adorable on it!


I bet the shih tzus back in the day wore these outfits. Here is my baby modeling her new addition to her wardrobe!

This is the first year we are going to have a portrait together with Marco, Cinnamon and myself! I got this Santa outfit at Petsmart and it looks so adorable on my precious.

Halloween 09!

This is the second year we celebrate Halloween with our pup. This year I made Cinnamon's costume myself. She was a daisy flower and she looked very cute. On Sunday we went with her friends Bella, Derby and Burger to a dog Halloween parade in Los Gatos, and they had fun sniffing other dogs and getting free treats.

Dog Fashion Show!

It is so much fun (and expensive) to have a girl dog. In 8 months Cinnamon has acquired more clothes than me. Every time we go to the store, I have to get something for her; it's a disease!
Cinnamon and I hide from Marco when is time to pay the credit card bills! But she looks so adorable. Here is a video clip showing Cinny's wardrobe.

Howl-O-Ween

This was our first Halloween with Cinnamon and I was very excited to dress her up in a costume.  I took me a long time to find the perfect outfit for my baby. All the costumes for dogs were boring. I went to Petsmart, Petco, Walmart, Petclub, Petfood, and found nothing. Then I found a precious lady bug costume at Target, but it was for human babies. I bought it anyway. When I got home I put the dress on Cinnamon and OMG she looked so cute in that dress. The only thing missing was the antennae. So I decided to make one myself. I made it with felt and sticks covered with black fabric. I cut a piece of felt, cut holes in it for the ears and stitched the sticks and  voila ….the costume was complete. Here are some pics:
