Shih Tzu world!

Shih Tzu Lovers
If you live in the Bay Area and are a Shih Tzu parent then you must join this group. This group of Shih Tzu lovers meets the last Saturday of every month in San Francisco at Alta Vista Park. These little guys are very friendly and as cute as Cinnamon. Cinnamon wagged her tail as soon as she saw all the ewok faces and looked comfortable being around her own kind :)

Sunday Puppy Bowl!

While everyone was watching the Super Bowl, these little fellas were enjoying watching puppies playing football on Animal Planet.

Derby and Burger (Westie and Maltese) did not want to miss the action.

Cinnamon (shih Tzu): "Mom please no more pictures, I'm missing the action"

Hope you all had a relaxing weekend, watching the super bowl or doing something better :)

Heart broken!

Don't they look like two lions!

Jaxon left on Monday and Cinny has been sad since :(.....She really needs another dog companion, but we still need to wait until we get a second dog! The last day, we took them for a walk to our favorite place, The Baylands in Palo Alto, CA, and we all had a blast!

We are going to miss you Jaxon!

Puppy Love!

Cinnamon's second love, Jaxon, spent the week with us and we fell in love with the pup too!...Jaxon is a shih tzu too and he is the cutest and the most loving dog we met (heheeh just because he LOVES cinny).

Cinny got a shower and grooming to look pretty for her love!

Sexy piggy tails!

A hot dress!

And there they are together...

Since Jaxon arrived, they haven't stopped playing, day and night!!

If I get a second dog, it will definitely be another shih tzu :)

Burger's Birthday!

We are babysitting my friend's dogs for the Holidays and today is Burger's birthday. I thought I would be nice if we did something special for him.

We started the day with a walk at the Park!

Goodies for the pups!

He enjoyed every minute of those cookies!

Having three kids at home is hard, but these guys are easy to take care of. They sleep all day and don't request going outside to the park every hour like Cinnamon!! We are going to miss them next week when they leave :(

Play date with Bella!

Finally Bella and Cinnamon are bffs!
Bella, a lovely pug, came to visit this past weekend and  for my surprise Cinnamon was excited to see her.
Cinnamon is a very sensitive young lady and does not like when other dogs bark at her, or make funny noises. Bella is one little pup who makes those funny noises when she breaths. So, when Cinnamon met her, she was not really interested in her and would growl at her. Not anymore!
After our trip to Big Sur they bonded!

Now they play and chase each other. They still have issues sharing stuff and being jealous, but they are improving!
I am excited because now they can have more play dates, so they learn more social skills ;)

Puppy Love!

I just got back from a long trip and this is the first time we did not bring Cinnamon with us. During this trip I realized how important Cinnamon has become in my life. Every dog I saw on the streets reminded me Cinny and before going to bed I would see her pretty pictures. I knew she was fine, but I was not, I missed her a lot :(
But, I was not going to talk about my obsession for her (maybe other day).
When I got back from my trip I heard one of the saddest news. One of Cinnamon's best friend, Jackson, was leaving :(
Jackson is a two-year old shih tzu who lives by our apartment complex. Cinnamon met him when she was only eight weeks old and they have been good friends since. They always meet at the park and can play for hours and hours and hours. Jackson is the only dog that does not get tired of playing with Cinnamon. He is very protective and jealous as well. When another dog wants to join the play, Jackson pushes them away or he starts hoping Cinny, which I think is cute! His mom is very nice too. We spent hours talking while the pups are playing.

They are moving to the city by the end of this month and we may not see them again :(
Cinny and I will miss them a lot! that is life I guess...bye bye Jackson and don't forget Cinnamon because she won't!
Jackson!

Summer love!

It's summer and I am free to spend time with my baby, yay!
Yesterday we had a play date with Melisa, Mandi and Kjersti's pups and we went to Fort Funston, a dog beach in Pacifica. There were six pups including Cinnamon running around the beach and they looked so happy. I was particularly impressed with pequeno Derby because this was the first time I saw him excited and running along the other dogs. He looked so cute!

Here are my favorite pics from that day:
